Your Base in Verity's Game: Pads, Income and the Treadmill

Every player gets a fenced base in Verity's Game — pads that display your Veritys, a per-second income total, upgrade signs, and a treadmill that trains Strength.

Your Base in Verity's Game: Pads, Income and the Treadmill

Every server carves you out a fenced rectangle of grass labeled Your Base (or “PlayerName’s Base” for everyone else’s). It is your vault, your display case, and — once the ANGER meter maxes out — your panic room. This page documents what is actually on it, all verified from September 2026 gameplay.

A developed base during the night event: floating creature labels with roll odds and $/s income, the Your Base header totaling $98/s, and a system line reading Your Veritys earn $437.1K/day offline

What does the base do?

Two jobs, both visible on screen:

  • It holds your Veritys. Collected creatures stand on the plot with floating nameplates — name, roll odds (1 in 10, 1 in 133), and a live $/s income figure plus a kilogram weight. The base header displays your combined rate ($98/s and $109/s observed on developed saves).
  • It pays you — including while you are gone. A system line reads “Your Veritys earn $437.1K/day offline”, matching the offline-income captures that earlier footage showed at the billion scale. The creature side of this is covered in What Are Veritys?.

Can you upgrade the base?

Yes. Each plot carries an UPGRADE sign with a cash price — $1.0K seen on a fresh save, $250.1K on a developed one, so the cost clearly scales with progression. Upgrading grows the plot’s capacity and infrastructure; the exact per-level benefit table is still being documented.

What is the treadmill?

A standing machine next to the plot with an “E — Use” prompt and its own upgrade signage. Stepping on it ticks +1 Strength per cycle — this is the confirmed answer to how Strength actually grows, the stat that gates what your grab can take (Strength and Grab Explained). Two treadmill skins have been observed — a plain white rig and a candy-striped one — consistent with upgrade tiers, though the level ladder itself is not yet documented.

What is the SAFE ZONE marking?

Painted text on the grass near bases reading SAFE ZONE. During the 100% ANGER night event it is the literal safe area — the entity hunts the open field, and players inside the zone are not seen getting hit. It is the reason the escape plan in The Verity Entity is “retreat to base” and not “run anywhere.”

How does the base feed the economy?

The loop is closed here: boxes you hold pay you (Boxes Explained), Veritys you place pay you per second, upgrades and the treadmill convert cash into capacity and Strength, and the sell stand converts spare inventory back into cash. The strategic consequence for money-making is that the base is the only part of your income other players cannot simply grab — which is why upgrading it early is rarely wrong.
