Box Rarity Tiers in Verity's Game: How Rare Is Rare?
Verity's Game boxes come in rarity tiers — the developer calls some 'incredibly extremely rare'. Here is how the rarity system works.
Rarity is the stat underneath every decision in Verity’s Game. Which box to guard, which to steal, which servers are worth joining — all of it routes through one question: how rare is that box? This page covers what rarity does and how to think in tiers.
Does Verity’s Game have rarity tiers?
Yes — the game’s own description makes the claim straight from the developer: the field’s boxes “make you cash and even though some of them are incredibly extremely rare just leave them alone.” That is an official confirmation of two facts at once: boxes differ in rarity, and rarity is meaningful enough to build the game’s entire pitch around.
What the tiers are called, exactly how many exist, and their precise cash multipliers are still being verified — the game launched September 4, 2026, publishes no stat sheets, and has no official community hub (the Update Log tracks every dated fact as it firms up). What footage does already show is visible value spread: boxes on the field carry on-screen value badges that differ by orders of magnitude — 25.0K on a timed blue box, 2.2K–6.6K on commons, 1.35M on a large red cube — plus colored variants (blue, purple, red, yellow, white) and countdown timers on some pads. Whether color maps to tier is not yet confirmed; the badges are the reliable signal today. This page will carry the confirmed tier table as soon as it is verified from gameplay, not guessed.
What does rarity change?
Rarity touches every system in the game:
| Rarity affects | How |
|---|---|
| Cash income | The developer’s description pairs “they make you cash” with “incredibly extremely rare” — rarity is the value axis the game itself advertises. Exact payout differences are still being documented. Money strategy in How to Make Money Fast. |
| Steal priority | Rare boxes are the #1 target on any server. The moment one is exposed, it is on loan to whoever grabs it first — see How to Steal Boxes. |
| Index value | Rarity and collection intersect: the field’s rare prizes fund the Random Verity rolls that fill the 49-entry Index. See The Index Explained. |
| Grab difficulty | The community’s working read is that rare boxes sit above the low-Strength gate — unverified, since how the gate keys off box properties is still being documented. See Strength and Grab Explained. |
How do I tell which tier a box is?
A verified “appearance → tier” key is still being compiled — footage confirms boxes come in distinct colors (blue, purple, red, yellow, white) with wildly different value badges, but nobody has published the color-to-tier mapping for Verity’s Game yet. Until then, use the practical proxy that works today:
- Watch what strong players ignore. Commons are scenery to them.
- Watch what owners guard. Nobody camps a low-value box.
- Watch grab failures. Boxes that refuse a low-Strength player’s grab are above their tier — grab failures are a live signal of the gate, whatever property it keys off (mechanics in Strength and Grab Explained).
Which boxes are the rarest?
What is confirmed so far: an “incredibly extremely rare” class exists (developer’s words), completed-Index runs are already possible, and rare boxes are finite enough that Index completionists treat them as the whole game. As specific tiers verify, they will appear here and in the Index guide’s completion route — same facts, both pages, always dated.
Why rarity drives the entire meta
Strip everything else away and Verity’s Game is a game about who holds the rare boxes. They are simultaneously the presumed top income, the best steals, the hardest Index entries, and the most defensible position on the server. Common boxes fill time; rare boxes decide sessions. Every guide on this site ends up back here: steal them, guard them, record them, grow into them.
