What Are Veritys? Creatures, Collection and Offline Income
Veritys are the collectible -ity creatures behind the Index. Here is what footage shows about rolls, display, weight and offline income.
Every system in Verity’s Game eventually points at the Veritys themselves — the creatures the game is named after, collected through rolls, displayed on your plot, and quietly paying you while you are offline. This page is what has been verified on screen so far. For the full odds table see the Verity Index List; for the creatures’ relationship to the field itself, start with Boxes Explained.

In-game capture from YinandChan’s gameplay footage (September 2026).
What exactly is a Verity?
A Verity is a collectible creature with a smiley-style face and a name ending in -ity — Verity, Falsity, Cruelty, all the way out to 1x1x1x1ity at 1 in 170.9K. Footage of late-game saves shows them as large creatures standing around the player’s plot: a tall green dinosaur-shaped Verity, a blue creature with a swirl tail, and smaller ones in a row. They are the visible payoff of the collection game — your Index progress rendered in 3D around your base.
How do you collect Veritys?
Through the Random Verity button on the right edge of the HUD, with roll odds published in the Index — from 1 in 5 for the base Verity to 1 in 170.9K at the verified deep end. The button carries a counter (x19 and x79 observed across different saves in footage); exactly what the counter spends per press is still being documented. The hotbar at the bottom of the screen holds five face slots with stack counts and a capacity readout (a 10/10 state in the captured footage), so at least part of your collection travels with you rather than staying on the plot. The full odds breakdown lives in the Verity Index List.
Do Veritys generate money?
Yes — and not only while you play. A system message visible in September 2026 footage reads “Your Veritys earn $135.5B/day offline.” That confirms two things: collected Veritys are an income engine, and the income accrues while you are logged out. How much is a different question: two filmed saves at the same 48/49 completion were earning $135.5B/day and $63/day respectively, so offline income clearly scales with more than entry count — what drives the difference is still being documented. For a game whose field economics are covered in Money Making Guide, this makes the collection the low-effort floor of your earnings — your boxes pay while you defend them, your Veritys pay unconditionally.
What is the kilogram stat about?
The same collection screen displays a large weight figure — 310,032,765 kg on the $135.5B/day save, and 28,921,660 kg on a second filmed save — separate from the cash counters. Its exact role is still being documented, but the natural reading is that collection mass feeds the Strength and grab system: the same stat family that decides which boxes you can take. If that holds, collecting is not separate from stealing — it is how you escalate it.
Do Veritys interact with the ANGER meter?
Unknown yet. The ANGER bar (top of screen, observed anywhere from 2% to 49% across footage) rises as you play — see How to Survive Verity — and the game’s whole social contract is that greed has consequences. Whether specific Veritys calm, feed, or otherwise interact with Verity’s mood is exactly the kind of thing the community is still working out; we will record it here the moment it is verifiable.
Why collect them all?
Because completion compounds: each Verity is an Index slot (The Index Explained), a plot decoration, an offline earner, and possibly a chunk of grab Strength. One captured 48/49 save was earning $135.5B a day doing nothing — that is the pitch.
